rested : restore

cotswolds - uk
Step away from the working week.
Return feeling rested.
As autumn settles in, we invite you to press pause and escape to the Cotswolds for three days dedicated to slowing down, reconnecting and restoring your energy.
rested:restore is our founding reformer Pilates retreat, a midweek pause designed for women who are craving gentle movement, restoration and connection. With just eight guests, our retreats are intentionally small, creating a welcoming atmosphere where meaningful conversations, quiet moments and genuine connection unfold naturally.
From Wednesday to Friday, you’ll leave behind the pace of everyday life and embrace a slower rhythm. Begin your mornings with uplifting reformer Pilates, spend time journalling and in nature, gather around the table for nourishing meals or simply soak in the hot tub.
There is no pressure to be productive here. No expectation to keep up.
Whether you’re looking for time to yourself, hoping to meet like minded women or simply needing a reset, we’ve created a space where you can arrive exactly as you are.
your retreat experience
Every element of rested:restore has been thoughtfully curated to help you step away from the working week, combining uplifting reformer Pilates, nourishing food, meaningful connection and plenty of time to simply rest.
-
Move, strengthen and reconnect with your body through welcoming reformer Pilates sessions led by Steph at Core Connections - a beautiful offsite studio with countryside views. Just a short drive from our retreat home, we’ll travel there together, giving you the opportunity to enjoy uplifting movement before returning to the slower pace of the retreat house. Suitable for all levels, each class is designed to leave you feeling energised, supported and confident, whether it’s your first time on a reformer or you’re a regular.
-
Nethercote Bridge Cottage is our retreat home, where we’ll eat, unwind, connect and rest. Throughout the retreat we’ll also venture out together to Core Connections a beautiful reformer Pilates studio with stunning countryside views and experience the wood fired sauna and cold plunge overlooking the countryside at Scenic Sauna.
-
We believe rest should feel joyful, and food is a part of that. Expect colourful vegetarian meals, seasonal ingredients and relaxed dinners gathered around the table. There’ll be fresh coffee, homemade treats, and if you’d like, a glass of wine or two with dinner.
This is not a detox retreat, as we believe balance is part of feeling rested.
-
The retreat has been designed with rest at its heart. Slow down with time in the hot tub, cosy corners and peaceful surroundings at our retreat home. We’ll also visit Scenic Sauna, a beautiful nearby wood-fired sauna and cold plunge, offering the perfect opportunity to embrace the season and leave feeling refreshed.
-
Take time to reflect through guided journaling, creative workshops and meaningful conversations. All activities are an invitation; there is no pressure to join or share. These sessions simply create space to reconnect with yourself and like-minded women.
-
Alongside reformer Pilates, you have the option to enjoy gentle movement designed to help you slow down and reconnect. Expect mindful walks, guided freeform dance, and moments of movement that leave you feeling grounded and reconnected.
-
If the weather allows we will spend time outdoors exploring the countryside, breathing fresh air and reconnecting with nature.
-
As the day draws to a close, settle into slower evenings around the fire pit, in the hot tub under the stars or beside the log burner. Expect relaxed conversations, laughter and the kind of evenings you wish could last a little longer.
-
Perhaps the most important part of the retreat. There is space in every day to rest however feels right for you, read a book, take an afternoon nap, enjoy a quiet coffee, soak in the hot tub or simply do nothing at all.
a taste of your retreat
Every rested: retreat is intentionally fluid. The timings and activities below are an example of how your three days might unfold.
-
Arrive at our countryside retreat and settle into your room before meeting the rest of the group over a welcome drink. We’ll gather for a welcome circle, sharing intentions for the days ahead before sitting down to our first nourishing dinner together. As evening falls, enjoy a relaxed soak in the hot tub, cosy conversations around the fire pit or log burner, and gentle journaling as you begin to slow down.
-
Wake slowly with tea or coffee before heading out for a gentle countryside walk. After breakfast, we’ll travel together to our beautiful reformer Pilates studio for an uplifting session before returning to the retreat house for lunch. The afternoon invites creativity and connection through a guided creative workshop, followed by a delicious shared dinner. We’ll end the day with gentle guided movement, plenty of time to relax in the hot tub and another cosy evening under the stars or beside the fire.
-
We’ll enjoy one final breakfast together before returning to the reformer Pilates studio for our closing session. From there, we’ll visit the on-site sauna and cold plunge overlooking the countryside before gathering for our closing circle, reflecting on the days we’ve shared before saying our goodbyes and heading home feeling rested, connected and restored.

Our vision has always been to make retreats feel more accessible without compromising on the experience.
As this is our founding retreat, we’re keeping our prices intentionally lower than future retreats. You’ll still enjoy beautiful accommodation, expert reformer Pilates, nourishing home cooked food, a thoughtful experience and a small group of women.
It’s our way of welcoming the first women into the rested: community and shaping the beginning of what we hope will become something special.
